Writing a new post aproximately half a month after the last one. Meh...


Today is the last day of March, and tomorrow is the first day of April. April Fool's Day!! LOL. Will blog about April's Fools Day tomorrow just for the fun of it.

Yesterday we got our Nintendo Wii!! haha. I think it took only 1 week or less for them to deliver it. It came yesterday evening and when I got back from school, me my brothers and sisters all clamoured for the one and only Wii console that came with the packaging.


After all, we all wanna have the Wii experience. haha.

(It looks taller in the photo somehow. I thought that the console being just a bit shorter than the Wii was an exageration but if you compare both in real life, its exactly like in the picture. ><)



I was the first one to use the Wii (naturally:P) And my second brother was the first one to create his own Mii.

Anyway, the whole evening, the downstairs Tv was occupied with whoever was playing Wii (wii sport only since it came with the console). Even after everyone went to sleep, me and my sister played tennis, baseball and such until around 12.30am. And, i woke up today feeling pretty sore and tired. :p It was kinda worth it though. Gives good exercise! XD
Today we got another console so that we wouldn't fight as much. It didn't stop the fighting obviously, but it 'funner' cos we got to beat each other and laugh in each other's faces. (HAHA I WON U LOST ! LOSER!!) yea.. we're very nice to each other. :D

Gonna go play Wii~~!

It's funny how sometimes, you just do something you vowed you would never do, or be somebody you thought you would never be.
Today, i was just thinking about this girl in my primary school, who vowed never to be a girly girl and like pink all that, then just a few years later, she's that exact girl. Wearing dresses and makeup and doing everything she had vowed never to do. I know it's kinda unfair, because most girls do wear makeup and wear dresses. And after all, everyone changes. But if it's that easy to break a vow you made to yourself, how much easier would it be to break a vow to someone else?

I myself have done some things that I thought I would never do, or even think of doing. Like even consider wearing highheels. I mean I don't currently use high heels , but I would, which is a big step from 'I would never wear high heels'.XP High heels do look nice after all and aren't that painful. ( I know I sound like some immature kid. haha)




Also, I was reminded that I vowed never to use sunglasses. I have no idea what the hell i was thinking when i said that. Sunglasses are like... shaded glasses that protect your eyes. Okay, I kinda remember now.. I was wearing glasses (and still are)so I think I thought I could never wear sunnies without actually getting contacts, but i do use sunnies without glasses now, but besides being not really able to see the little details on a person's face if their more than 5 m away, it's fine. LOL

Haha.. The first post of this blog. What does one write in a first blog post. I think most people describe who they are, but I really can't be bothered and it's not like I really want people to actually know who I am.Or do i? Anyway.. I'm just going to go through the reasons why I actually started this blog. haha

1. Cos Lily asked me to. Yes lily. If this blog turns out to be total crap, I am so blaming you.

2. I was planning to write it anyway.. Lily just catalysed it.. haha.. Learnt it in bio. See lily.. you're an enzyme, catalysing the reaction of me starting a blog. Does that even make sense? See, the first post and it's already turning out to be crap. *sigh.. Anyway going on with my list.


3. Inspiration from all those really fascinating ASIAN bloggers like Kenny Sia, Cheesie and Arron Yan Ya Lun (from all those days when I was totally fahrenheit-obsessed.) His blogs were pretty meaningful but were random sometimes. I remember there was one time when he blogged about washing machines and how he didn't like his white clothes to turn pink. I then told my friends back in my old school(in Malaysia) and they said he was totally random. And then after that I kept bringing it up at such random times and they concluded that I was weird.. whoopee.. Anyway, I read his english blog,( since I couldn't exactly read chinese and still can't) pretty often and it kept me fascinated. XD Well, when I stopped obsessing over fahrenheit, I stopped reading his blog. But his posts always remained in my head, so there.

haha..

I was kinda exagerating about the ASIAn part.. haha.. Some non-Asian blogs are pretty good too.. Like Andrew McMahon's from Jack's Mannequin! He writes pretty meaningful stuff too. i find that songwriters do write pretty meaningful or at least interesting stuff, prob cos they are songwriters. haha. Lame yes I know. Eg. Ben Romans from The Click Five.

So that's pretty much my list. not so much of a list, more like 3 thingies with a few sentences written after each number, and I think 1 and 2 are kinda merged.. but who cares.

Im probably gonna write separate posts concerning Arron, Jack's Mannequin and The Click Five as there are many things that need to be ranted and discussed. XP
